I love reading and I love my Kindle, it means I can read practically anywhere. I have 2 Kindles, an original basic reader and an HD Fire which allows access to the internet, watching films, playing games etc. My reader is great because, once charged, the battery will last for up to a month whereas the HD Fire runs out quite quickly but it is great for easy internet access on the go or when on holiday.
One annoying thing about the Kindle is that it doesn’t come with a charger, I have a Blackberry phone which has the same micro USB so it wasn’t an issue with the reader. However, the HD Fire would take hours and hours to charge so, I did a bit of investigation and discovered that you can get a high powered charger (2 Amp instead of 1 Amp) which is much better. It also charges my phone really quickly too! You can find them on Amazon and Ebay.
There are many electronic “readers” out there and it’s hard to know which is the best one for you, I have found several comparison sites; PCAdvisor gives some great comparison information while Crowdstorm is excellent for comparing prices once you have chosen the model you want.
I was invited to join a Book Club, on Facebook, by a friend and I thoroughly enjoy reading reviews from other people. Finding new authors is a joy and you can quickly work out who has similar reading tastes to your own and swap authors. Originally this Book Club was a closed group, but it has recently opened up to everyone so if you fancy taking part or just reading honest reviews then come and join us! We are at : The Book Club.
Just finished this one, I enjoyed it!
