Gok Wan’s Spicy Stir-Fried Prawns with Cashew Nuts

Gok Wan's spicy stir-fried prawns with cashew nuts

Another winning recipe from “Gok cooks Chinese”! My kids love stir fries so this was always going to be well received, I served it with “Easy Traditional Noodles“, a great combination!

This is my simplified version of Gok’s recipe, you can view the full version here. The original uses raw prawns but for speed, ease and safety (I’m never sure if I’ve removed the vein properly), I’ve used cooked, peeled prawns. Plus I replaced the vegetables with a ready made bag of stir fry from the supermarket. This makes the whole recipe super easy!

  2. Add the pack of stir fry and cook for a few minutes then add the prawns until warmed through.
  3. Now add the rice wine, soy sauce and fish sauce , check the saltiness and add the sugar if too salty. Add the cashews and the cornflour mix and stir together.
