No Sew Crafts

Here are some fab “no sew” projects I found on Pinterest (I lose whole hours of my life searching that site!). I am definitely going to try the first one. I made some very simple “envelope” cushions myself with a simple straight stitch but this is even easier!

This is a great idea for summer, it was on the BHG website as a 4th July decoration idea but would work with any fabric for a summer party. So many people have decking now with balustrading and this is a lovely way to decorate it for a party. DIY bunting!

This is a really cool idea from WobiSobi, take a man’s T-shirt and turn it into a halter neck top, doesn’t it look great! Click the link or image for instructions.

Another clothes project which could involve a little bit of very easy hand stitching if you want to make it permanent. Click the link to Bromeliadliving for instructions.

This is such a simple but really effective idea to transform a plain lampshade, simply choose 2 coordinating ribbons and criss cross around the lamp to create a unique shade. Click the image for instructions.

A really easy project with spectacular results! Simply screw cup hooks into the ceiling and wire large rings (try DIY stores or use large curtain rings) to them, pass the fabric through and pool on the floor for effect.

A brilliant idea from Martha Stewart. Coordinate a simple pair of sandals with your outfit by gluing matching ribbon to the straps. Perfect!

Use fabric glue to trim rough burlap/hessian with a pretty piece of lace for a great contrast.

I love this idea from The Cottage Home, it would make a lovely gift. Cover a board with fabric to match your scheme then cover a wooden letter with fabric flowers, glued on. Hang from a ribbon stapled to the board, cover the staple with another flower. Gorgeous! Hobbycraft are a good source of wooden letters and fabric flowers.
